1986 marked the beginning of the success story of our small family brewery, which has aimed at brewing "untreated specialty beers".

We produce for a regional market and so can dispense with using technology to extend shelf life. Going above and beyond the purity law, we also brew according to strict organic guidelines, which requires a particularly gentle, artisan brewing by hand and unprocessed raw materials from organic farming. Only in this way can the distinctive, full-bodied flavour of an "original beer” be achieved. Beer connoisseurs appreciate this distinction. All raw materials, brewing processes and products are regularly tested by the Bio Organisation (Organic Organisation).

"Hanöversch" is only available around the region in selected organic, beverage and food shops, or directly in the Brauhaus Ernst August. Genuine tastes best!
