Discover the Brauhaus Ernst August, our small family brewery, on one of our daily brewery tours.

Our brewer will tell you at first hand about all the brewing processes in the brewery, the fermentation and storage cellars and the filling area. You’ll learn about the relationships between the wort and the alcohol and what it means to brew under the German purity law and according to organic brewing guidelines. Try our beer specialties directly from the storage tank taps and, at the end of a rich brewer's evening, which includes two additional 0.3 l beers, talk shop at length about what you've just learned.

Cost: €15.50 per person (brewery tour, beer tasting, brewing vespers and 2 x 0.3 litres of speciality beers).

The brewery tours run from Mon-Thu between 12:00 and 5:00 p.m., on Fri between 12:00 and 4:00 p.m. and on Sat between 10.00 and 1:00 p.m. They take from 45 to 60 minutes. More dates are possible on request.
